The tells
- The 3 runs the deck and the 8 wants the decision — both are steering, just toward different prizes.
- The 5 and the 9 both stay quiet, but the 5 is conserving energy while the 9 is dodging friction.
- The 6 asks the risk question nobody wanted; it usually turns out to be the right one.
